Ingrid M. Rodrick Beiler

Ingrid Rodrick Beiler is an assistant professor who teaches topics related to English linguistics, English teaching methods, and multilingualism. She recently submitted her PhD thesis at the Department of Teacher Education and School Research at the University of Oslo, a linguistic ethnography of multilingual students' English writing practices and a translingual approach to English writing instruction. Her fields of research include English writing and the significance of multilingualism for language learning in the secondary grades and adult education. She has previously taught English as an additional language in the United States, Palestine, and Iraq.
